The patented Rayosan^TM technology by Clariant increases the Sun Protection Factor of fabric without changing the appearance, handle, and "breathability" of it.  You can imagine how excited we are to incorporate this technology into the Moby^TM Wrap fabric.  Using this kind of fabric will offer another layer of protection for baby's sensitive skin, especially before the recommended age of using sunscreen.

Although it is a chemical process, it was tested and passed the Oeko-Tex 100 certification process, which ensures us that it was tested for harmful substances - and passed.  We share Oeko-Tex commitment to your personal safety and the support of environmentally sound processes and you can rest assured that the product you have will not harm you or your child.  The dye is considered to be durable for the life or the garment.  It is long lasting, but will start to gradually wash out after 30 washes or so.  The Rayosan^TM coated fabric's UPF value ranges from 44-48.
The Moby Wrap is our favorite baby shower gift.  This baby sling is a stretchy wrap, made from 100% cotton interlock, the material feels like a soft t-shirt.  It is fabulous for newborns.

One tying method is used to put the baby in 2-3 different positions.  Of all of the wraparound carriers, the Moby wrap is the easiest to learn to use.  The Moby is aproximately 6 yards in length to provide enough material for each carry position.  Although it can be used in many ways, stretchy wraps such as the Moby are typically tied on first, then the baby is put in.  You can keep the baby carrier on during the day and "pop" baby in or out as needed.

You can carry your baby laying down, upright, facing in or facing out.  This carrier is also great to use while nursing a newborn hands-free when you need to be on the go.

The Moby sling fabric does not create pressure points.  It is best used as a front carrier with small babies, but it can be used for children up to 35 pounds.  We think this is one of the most comfortable baby carriers for your newborn.  It will not sag like wraps that contain Lycra.  Machine Wash & Dry.
